Belinda King Creative Productions are Europe’s largest provider of elite entertainment
for the luxury cruise industry and European venues.

 

We will be holding an Open Call for world-class dancers
for contracts commencing throughout 2017 and 2018.

 


No previous cruise experience required. Must be aged 21 and over. Please find further details below.

Tuesday 5th September

Open Call
Sign-In at 09:30 in Studio 2.

 

The day will take place in stages, each stage in a different style of dance. We will be finished by 15:30.

 

Please wear form-fitting dance wear and appropriate footwear for dance. For safety reasons, barefoot is not permitted.

Female Dancers

We are casting for professional female dancers with exceptional technique.

 

Dancers should be very physically fit, toned and flexible. Skilled partner-work including lifts. Styles required include Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary and Commercial. Latin and Ballroom skills are a plus.

 

No singing ability or aerial work is required at any time.

Aged 21+ only.

 

Onboard fees from $600 per week depending on brand, professional experience/credits and managerial roles – for example Dance Captain and/or Company Manager.

Male Dancers

We are casting for professional male dancers with exceptional technique. Dancers should be very physically fit, toned and flexible. Skilled partner-work including lifts. Styles required include Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary and Commercial. Latin and Ballroom skills are a plus.

 

Repertoire includes folkloric tricks.
No singing ability or aerial work is required at any time.

 

Aged 21+ only.

 

Onboard fees from $600 per week depending on brand, professional experience/credits and managerial roles – for example Dance Captain and/or Company Manager.

Dance Couples

Seabourn contracts require dance couples with exceptional technique.

 

Dancers should be very physically fit, toned and flexible. Highly skilled partner-work including lifts. Styles required include Jazz, Contemporary and Latin and Ballroom. Commercial styles are a plus.

 

No singing ability or aerial work is required at any time.

Aged 21+ only.

 

Onboard fees from $3,500 per person per month depending on experience, professional credits and managerial roles.

What time should I get to the Open Call?


Please sign in at 09:30, with a copy of your CV with a recent headshot included.

What should I wear?


Please wear form-fitting dance wear that shows your physique.
Guys, out of consideration for partner work please avoid wearing low-cut sleeveless t-shirts.

 

Suitable footwear is required – dancing barefoot is not permitted at any time for safety reasons.

 

Don’t forget to bring water and anything else you may need during the day.

Which contracts are available?

We are continuously casting for various contracts throughout 2017 and 2018.

 

Our World Cruise casts for Princess Cruises feature two segments – the first aboard the Pacific and continuing aboard the Sea Princess. Rehearsals for our next cast begin late October 2017.

 

Holland America Line casts require both solo dancers and couples. Each cast features between four to ten dancers. Opportunities include the Alaska Season 2018 and World Cruise aboard the Amsterdam.

 

Seabourn contracts are for couples only and feature some of the best itineraries in the industry. Within the repertoire, exciting collaborations include ‘Can’t Stop The Feeling’ aboard the Seabourn Encore, which is directed and choreographed by West End Director Gary Lloyd.

What is the repertoire onboard?

Each ship or venue has its own collection of repertoire – which feature a wide range of concepts and dance styles.

 

Aboard Seabourn, ‘An Evening With Sir Tim Rice’ features fleet-wide as well as other exciting collaborations including ‘Can’t Stop The Feeling’ aboard the Seabourn Encore, which is directed and choreographed by West End Director Gary Lloyd.
