Is there any chance I can have my own room during rehearsals?
All accommodation is shared, and it is extremely rare that you would ever find yourself with your own room during rehearsals, or on board a ship.
 
Do I receive my full salary whilst rehearsing?
All casts receive half salary during the rehearsal period unless stated otherwise.
 
What should I wear to rehearsals?
When you arrive in Northampton you will be provided with a Belinda King rehearsal uniform – which you must wear for rehearsals. In addition, you should bring some extra dancewear. Please make sure it is not baggy, or inappropriate, and preferably black.
 
Please do not wear any piercings or any jewelry. Make up should be light, unless asked for anything else. Girls’ hair should always be neatly tied back, as should boys’ if it is long.
 
What do I need during the rehearsal period?
All accommodation is provided, as well as some basic household goods. You will need to purchase your own food, and there are plenty of places to do so.
 
…what about luggage?
If you won’t be returning home before the rehearsal period finishes, you will need to bring all of your luggage with you. However, be considerate to your fellow colleagues, and only bring what is necessary. Unfortunately we don’t currently provide any extra space for luggage storage.  There are also limits to the amount you can take onboard with you, so please contact the office if you have any queries.
